Ted Brown's Obituary
April 2, 1929 – March 6, 2010 ~Resident of Belmont, Ted passed away peacefully Saturday morning, at home, at the age of 80. He was born in Concord, North Carolina, and moved on his own to California in 1947, where he married and raised his family. Ted was a steadfast worker, retiring in February 1991 with 33 years at Frito-Lay, where he was several imes top ‘Salesman of the Year’, and 35 years with Retail Clerks. During retirement, he busied himself with grounds and building maintenance for his church, helping family members, and vegetable gardening. He enjoyed playing tennis with friends most weekday mornings, right up until a month ago. Ted leaves his beloved wife of 60 years, Judith, and their three daughters, Debra, Sandy, and Melinda, seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. We will all miss him greatly. Friends and family are invited to a memorial service this Wednesday, March 10, at 7:00 pm, at the First Baptist Church at 787 Walnut St in San Carlos.
