Taylor Jordan Paige's Obituary
Taylor was a gentle loving man with a beautiful soul, who loved his family and friends. He was also a joker, his quirky sense of humor offering silly “in the moment” comments on random topics that lifted the spirits of those around him. He enjoyed playing video games with his father and sisters from a very young age and continued to be an expert. When his dad was no longer a competition to him anymore, he started playing online where he conquered most of the competition. Growing up he also played racing games like “Need for Speed”, this may have been the cause for his love for sports cars and racing outside of the gaming realm.
Following his father’s footsteps, Taylor was committed to physical fitness. He often found himself at the gym, he built himself up, while blowing off steam. When he was not working or doing homework, he could be found at a concert in San Francisco. He loved listening to and making electronic and dubstep music but he also loved metal and rock.
One thing that his family knew about Taylor was his passion for food. As a child, his love for food started with corn dogs, cheese dogs, pizza, and burgers. When he opened up to eating more diverse meals, he sparked a love for Vietnamese and Mexican foods. He loved his father’s tempura shrimp. The most interesting food fact about Taylor was that he asked to eat at Denny’s constantly, and ate enough meals there that he could have owned stock in the place! In addition, he loved his mother’s breakfast foods, consisting of pancakes smothered with butter and boysenberry syrup, and of course her homemade biscuits. Taylor was also known for his love for cats and dogs even though he was allergic to them. His mom called him “the dog and cat whisperer.” He always made it a point to say “hi” to any furry friend in the room.
Taylor was born on January 12th, 1995, at Stanford Hospital in Palo Alto. During his early years, he was raised in San Jose, CA where he spent each summer with his sisters. During some summers, he'd also visit his grandparents in Maryland. They shared years of laughter as they watched their favorite tv shows and went on family road trips. He may have been a pesky brother sometimes. But the love that they had for each other always superseded it. He had the most contagious laugh, and smile, that always made experiences memorable.
Taylor later relocated to San Mateo, CA, where he graduated from Aragon High School and furthered his education at the Community College of San Mateo. He held jobs in various restaurants and sandwich shops for spending change while going to school. Moving forward, he relocated to Daly City, CA to have a place of his own. He faced many challenges, but touched the people around him with his powerful heart and spirit.
Taylor is survived by his loving parents, Dannie Paige, Jr of San Lorenzo, CA and Marcella and Joseph Sanchez of Grants Pass, OR; grandparents, Dannie Paige Sr. & Rosa Paige of Ellicott City, MD, Leslie & Joan Faison of Owings Mills, MD; 3 loving sisters and 1 brother, Chanel Paige of Baltimore, MD, Terice Paige of Phoenix, AZ, and Gabrielle Paige of Oakland, CA Gregory Kramer of Reno NV; loving stepsister’s Isabella, Julianna and Adrieana Sanchez; loving auntie Carolee Martin of Kelseyville CA, loving aunt Nicole Faison of Accokeek, MD; loving uncle Leslie Faison of Hanover, PA; loving aunt Shari Danae Vaccaro Titusville FL, loving aunt Geni Getchelle Titusville FL, great aunt, Joyce Paige of Baltimore County; and a host of cousins from Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Florida and California.
Our beloved Taylor has left us too soon! For those who have held him in their arms for a little while, we will hold in our hearts forever and someday, we will meet again, where there will be no more pain, nor suffering, nor tears. Only joy, love and laughter, amen.
