As evidenced at the memorial service yesterday by the number of attendees and the stories that were told, Tatiana touched so many people’s hearts with her kindness, laughter, and caring. Her zest for life and her love for her family and friends will serve as a shining example to us all on how we should conduct ourselves and run our daily affairs. I remember how proud she was a of me when I was promoted to Fire Chief and she insisted on taking some portrait photos of me in my Class “A” uniform wearing the Fire Chief badge. I still have those photos and will cherish them. I will miss such a good friend. She was an outstanding and exemplary person. She gave us many wonderful memories that will endure for life. Tatiana will be missed around City Hall, her smile was ever present. My heart breaks for John and the kids. Her family was so very important to her, and always first and foremost.
I always loved seeing Tatiana, John and the kids walking to the school. I could see them from my back door. She always had a great big smile. You could tell she loved her family, and was happy. She will be missed.
My prayers to the Family and friends. I did not know Tatiana personally, but my sister Karen Mitchell worked with her and we know how difficult this time is, truly. May God ease the pain as you endure the next few days, weeks, months and maybe years. God Bless.
