Svein IversenMay 3, 1931 – Dec 24, 2011Resident of San Mateo Svein passed away at his home at the age of 80 years young from ALS. He was born in Norway on May 3, 1931 and immigrated to the United States in 1955. He worked as a seaman from the age of 17. He had a great sense of humor and was a member of Sirs and E Clampus Vitus. Svein was a loving and devoted husband of Caroline for 56 years and a wonderful father and grandfather. Svein is survived by his wife Caroline, son David, daughter in-law Kathy, and grandchildren Scott and Brian, brother and sister in Norway Tora, Mary, nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to attend the services on Saturday 12/31/2011 at 11:00am at Skylawn Funeral Home Highway 92 at Rte 35 San Mateo, Ca. 94402 Reception will follow services.
