Suzie C.H. Yun's Obituary
Suzie C.H. Yun of Saratoga, CA went to be with the Lord on July 14, 2025. She was born April 10, 1926 in Shanghai, China to Yang-Nung Sun and Pai-Yung Lee.
In 1948, Suzie and her mother fled the civil war in China and settled in Taiwan, where she married her first husband, Yi LEE, and had three children. In 1970, she immigrated to the United States to create better opportunities for her children. As a single mother, she worked diligently to support her family, achieving the American dream by purchasing her first car and a house in Daly City, California. She placed a high value on education, viewing it as a crucial cornerstone for achieving success in life. She was unwavering in her commitment and resolve to ensure that all of her children received the necessary resources and support to complete their university education. In 1978, she married her second husband, Jen Yun, and they moved to Greenville, SC. In 1988, they returned to California to be nearer to their children and grandchildren. Suzie was an exceptional culinary artist who regularly hosted dinner gatherings for her family on Tuesday evenings. She was an affectionate grandmother, cherished by all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She and Jen loved exploring new places, and one of their favorite ways to do this was by cruising with Jen and his children. Suzie was actively involved in her church and charitable activities. Suzie had a deep love for the Lord Jesus Christ and consistently credited Him for her joy and kindness.
Suzie is survived by her children, Richard Lee, Ning-Ning Lee and Ray Lee, along with five grandchildren and three great grandchildren as well as Jen Yun's children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Suzie's kind spirit, generous heart and gracefulness leave a lasting legacy with all who knew her.
