Stephen Wei's Obituary
Stephen Yeung Wei passed away peacefully at the age of 89 years old. He was born in Shanghai, China to Lott and Lucy Wei. He graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering from Chu Hai College, Hong Kong and later earned a B.S. degree in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineering from California Polytechnic College. He worked as a mechanical engineer for Bechtel Corporation and also for Parsons, Brinckerhoff, Quade & Douglas, Inc helping to design the ventilation system for our local BART stations.
In 1976, Stephen opened up his own printing shop called GraphicTech with his wife Cynthia. He retired in 1998, spending his days watching the 49ers and enjoying his photography hobby.
His memory will be carried by his loving wife Cynthia, his son Christopher (Susan) and his daughter Sandra (Neuzil.) His 4 grandchildren will always remember his joyful laughter and mischievous smile - Kaitlyn, Timothy, Jack, and Brandon. He is survived by his younger sister Teresa Wong of Toronto, Canada. He will be dearly missed by all.
A private family memorial service was held.
