Shirley Shou-Yin Watt's Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Shirley Shou-Yin Watt, 90, on July 3, 2021, in San Francisco, California. Shirley was born in Guangzhou, China. Along with her family, she moved and lived in Hong Kong for many years. In 1968, she moved to San Francisco and had lived there ever since.
Shirley was a proud and independent woman. Throughout her life, she was compassionate and kind to relatives, friends, and strangers alike. She believed in helping others. She was preceded in life by her former husband Shiu Tai Ma, and her brothers Shu Heung Watt and Chun Bor Watt. She is survived by her sons Alex Ma and his fiancee Christie To; Tony Ma, his wife Ivy Ma, and their daughters Fontaine and Flora Ma; and Michael Ma; as well as other relatives of the Watt family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Skylawn Funeral Home & Memorial Park, Hwy 92 at Skyline Blvd., San Mateo, CA 94402. Service and visitation will be on Sunday, July 18 at 10 am at the Funeral Home, and burial at Memorial Park directly after. In lieu of flowers and gifts, we request that you make donations to care, support, and research for Alzheimer’s disease.
