CHO, SEK YEN (nee Kim)Retired Professor of Korean Language at University of Buffalo and recipient of Lifetime Achievement Award of University of the Nations International for her development of the Nurigle Phonetic Alphabet passed away on June 15, 2014, at the age of 86; beloved wife of Kah Kyung Cho; dear mother of Christine (Randall Smith) Cho; loving grandmother of Alexandra, Olivia and Bennett Smith; sister of the late Young Sook Kim and Sue Huh. The family will be present to receive friends Thursday from 6-9 PM at the (Amherst Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC. 5200 Sheridan Drive (cor. Hopkins). Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service which will be held Friday at 10 AM at the Buffalo Korean Presbyterian Church, 955 Sheridan Drive, Tonawanda, NY. Interment will be in Skylawn Memorial Park, San Mateo, CA.
