Sau Kam Yip Woo's Obituary
Sau Kam Woo was born on July 24, 1931. She passed peacefully on January 23, 2021 in Burlingame Nursing . She had a compassionate heart. She loved children. Her grandchildren always brought a smile to her face.
Born in Zhejiang Province, China, she grew up loving to learn in school and throughout her life. At the age of 18, she married Hung Yu Woo and started her own family in Hong Kong. She was a devoted mother, and encouraged her children to aim for higher education.
She was industrious and caring. She loved handicrafts, like pottery, sewing, embroidery. She was generous in giving to special causes, mostly to disadvantaged children.
Her family will always fondly remember her warmth and gentle smile and her resilience to meet every challenge with grace. She brought joy especially to all her grandchildren.
She is survived by four daughters, Sarah, Susan, Marianna, Cissy and seven grandchildren, two granddaughter in-laws and two great grandchildren.
Her memorial service will be held at Skylawn Memorial on Feb 5, 2021, in San Mateo county.
We will miss her dearly.
