Samuel Richard Rangel's Obituary
Samuel “Sam” Richard Rangel, 40, of Milpitas CA / Newport Beach CA, entered eternal
rest on February 20, 2023.
Sam was born on June 8, 1982, in San Jose, CA, to Sam & Beatrice Rangel.
Sam attended Piedmont Hills High School. He worked in the financial arena for 20
years as a loan officer. His knack for marketing and self-promotion was hard to miss.
Sam truly lived life to the fullest. His life was never short on excitement. He enjoyed
boating, snowboarding, basketball, and biking. He was an avid Forty Niners, Warriors,
and SF Giants fan. He loved fine dining, which encouraged him to be a “master” chef
himself. He loved to surround himself with beauty and positivity, which meant you could
catch him at Balboa Bay Resort, Nobu Malibu, Wally’s Beverly Hills, Javier’s Newport
Beach, & Equinox.
Sam is survived by his mother, Beatrice Burnett; sisters, Erica Rangel and Jessica
Burnett; brother, Josh Blevins; nephew, Donoven Moore; nieces, Alana Moore, Joslyn
Moore, Shaylene Moore; and beloved dog, Flip.
Sam was preceded in death by his father, Samuel G. Rangel; grandfather, Samuel C.
Rangel; grandfather, Amado Talamantes; and grandmother Elvira Talamantes.
