Sally Louise Scholz, age 73, of Los Altos Hills, CA, passed from this life, to the next, at home on February 03, 2018.Sally was born on December 01, 1944 in Bend, Oregon.Sally was preceded in death by her parents James Wade Maher and Volloa Doris Belleisle.Sally married her cherished and devoted, loving husband Jim Scholz on July 14, 1965.Sally participated in Jim’s Law Offices for many years and then came the joyous day, as Jim and Sally welcomed their only child, Celeste.Sally was the consummate devoted and loving mother. She always encouraged Celeste, to follow her heart to where it takes you and seek out contentment, fulfillment, joy and happiness in life.Sally was active in local civic and charitable organizations, serving as President of the Millbrae Women’s Club, Treasurer San Mateo County Lawyers Wives, Recording Secretary Soroptimist International, active member and first Recording Secretary of the Millbrae Historical Society, Starbright Chapter-Children’s Home Society, Peninsula Humane Society, Millbrae Newcomers, Millbrae Chamber of Commerce, Brownie Troop Leader, volunteer at Stanford University Cantor Art Center and others.Sally was an avid reader, creating and filling a large personal library of books on many varied subjects. She attend continuing education courses, cooking classes, visited museums and historical sites, learned and discussed with family and friends all types of history and geography, traveled extensively with Jim and Celeste, and enjoyed going to theatres and musical performances.Sally had a sparkling, passionate and lively personality. She loved to visit with new and old friends and family. She will always be remembered for her enormously generous heart and beautiful, disarming smile.Sally is survived by her Loving and Devoted Husband of 53 years, Jim, their treasured and loving Daughter, Celeste, Brothers Robert Marsden and his wife Susie, Wallace Marsden and his significant other Rita, Brother in-Law Thomas Barbee and his wife Christella, Cousins Lee King and her husband Dick, Sandra Richwine and her husband Steven, Craig Dayton, Kenny Belleisle and his wife Sharon, Celee Evans, Kristine Wahlberg, Norene Williams, Donna O’Brien and her husband Mike and loving and loved Nieces and Nephews..Memorial service, followed by a Reception and Celebration of Life, will be held on February 16, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at Skylawn Memorial Park, Highway 92 and Skyline Blvd., San Mateo, CA 94402 Memorial donations may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, which will help advance the efforts to find the causes, treatment and cures for MS.
