Would have been our 48th Anniversary today. (Married that is.. Ruta always added 5 years for our dating life) I've seriously thought about taking this web site down. I'm concerned she would not have liked such a big display.. probably not. I just want anyone to know how amazing and special she was. I'll leave it for now. Love you R, and for ever D.

Ruta inspired us with her boundless energy, hard work, superb care and strive for perfection in all she took on! May beautiful memories of good times we had with her give you peace and comfort. I added a photo of a letter (one of many!!) Ruta sent me when she was just 11 years old. We corresponded monthly by snail mail those days... It is just a small example that I cherish of her lifetime of always doing first-rate work. And you won't see such beautiful handwriting any more! My deepest sympathy and love to all of you! Jurate
Deepest sympathies to Dean, Geoff, Sam and the rest of the family. I always think fondly of a specific Christmas in Toronto where Ruta had put together such an extraordinary meal for the family that involved waking at 3am to begin the preparations. Time may create distance, but the memories we hold always stay close in our hearts. ❤️
