Roy Jack Young's Obituary
Roy Jack Young was born on July 7, 1924, in Seymour, MO, to Ira and Nettie Young. He joined the Marines at 18, but was sidelined by Scarlet Fever, which almost killed him. He came to CA in 1943 for a better life and worked at the Kaiser shipyards in Richmond. There, he became a member of the Teamsters. He later became a truck driver for various grocery distributers. He resided in San Francisco with his late wife, Tina Liberati Young. He retired from his truck driving job with Grand Auto in 1984. They then retired to Redwood City in 1993. He is survived by his Sister, Mary Dame, his Brother Eldon Young, Seven children, Thirteen Grandchildren, 20 Great Grandchildren & 3 Great-Great Grandchildren. His wife preceded him in death.
