Resides in Fremont
Died May 3, 2020 in her home from a long term illness and was surrounded by her loved ones
Rosemarie Naftaly known as Rose to many of her friends and ROSIE to her family. She was born on January 25,1940 in Manila Philippines. Rose studied at St Joseph’s college in Quezon City, Manila from elementary through college and graduated with her associate degree in business.
She moved with her family to California in April 1959 and
resided in Burlingame.
Rose was the 2nd eldest of 6 girls. She worked as an executive secretary for many years. She worked at Red Hat until she retired in her mid 70's
Throughout the years Rose enjoyed traveling to many different places
Rose was very active with her Church, Holy Spirit in Fremont, and served as a volunteer for the poor at St Vincent de Paul. She met many wonderful people and was loved by many.
She was preceded in death by her mother Emilia Lopretti, fatherAlbert Naftaly, step father Nino Lopretti who raised her, and her sister Emily Sardinas.
Survived by her sisters Eva Barr, Mary Jane Sambuceto, Helen Barraco, brother in-law Edward Barraco, Lulu Zeagas, brother in law Jim Zeagas, and brother in law Hector Sardinas.
11 nieces, 6 nephews, 6 great nieces 2 great nephews and 3 great great nieces.
Rose is now in the arms of the angels and will forever be missed by many.
