Rose Wong's Obituary
Rose Wong, a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and small business owner, passed away peacefully at the age of 88 on October 20th, 2019 in Fremont, California. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Sunny Wong, their children, Margaret (Tim), Wanmo (Linda), Wan Sing (Li Ping) and Esther (Tim) and grandchildren Melanie, Kristen, Nicole, Max, Haley, Ming Pui and Ming Hang. She also leaves behind her sister Helen, brother-in-law H.K. and many nieces and nephews.She was born on July 26th, 1931 in Guangzhou China. Her family moved to Hong Kong after World War II where she met and married Sunny. In the late seventies, they sent their three oldest children to study in the Bay Area and moved here themselves in the early eighties. She and Sunny started a tea manufacturing company in Burlingame which they ran for over 30 years.She devoted her life to her family and her business. She will be dearly missed but will always remain in our hearts.
