Rose Dal Porto passed away at Windsor Manor Rehabilitation Center of Concord California USA. She was 94 years old and died on 3/14/2018 at 11:05 AM from Cardiac arrest while asleep in bed. She was born in Moutain View California USA. She was the daughter of Mr. Joaquin and Mrs. Priscilla Guiterrez.Ledo Dal Porto and Rose Guiterrez were married February 14th (Valentines Day) 1943 inSan Francisco, California. She attended Commerce High School in San Francisco California. Ledo and Rose lived with Sons Tito and Dino Dal Porto.Roses Family moved from Mountain View CA to Portland Oregon during her early childhood. Then they moved to San Francisco right up to her marriage to Ledo. Ledo’s mother and father Gildo and Luginia Dal Porto were immigrants from middle San Ginese D. Compito, Lucca Italy. Rose had 5 siblings: Rebecca, Jo Joaquin, Daniel, Ralph and Junie Guiterrez. Rose and Ledo lived together all their lives in California. They lived in San Francisco, Redwood City, Campbell, Russian River at Guerneville-Guernewood Park, Lake County, Fremont, Pittsburg, San Leandro, and finally Antioch CA.Rose was a very devout Christian and was not embarrassed or apologetic about professing Jesus Christ as the Savior for all who believe in Him. She would tell this to everyone and to anyone she came in contact with. She was a true evangelist. She was a totally devoted Christian. She loved her cats and Rose and Ledo made their cats into there children and were devoted to their cats for their later years in Antioch CA. Rose was a very loving person and mother. Everyone loved her. Her surviving immediate family is: Ledo, Tito, Paul, Kirk and Hagen Dal Porto. Her Son Dino died in San Leandro CA 7/29/1992 at the age of 45. He was born 7/18/1947. Rose has been placed at Skylawn Memorial Park, San Mateo CA. Her service and burial will be at 12:00 noon Wednesday 3/21/2018. Attendance will be limited to invited family and guests.
