Rosalinda Quintana Vasallo, a soft-spoken, loving, and deeply affectionate wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, was born on April 24, 1948, in Malate, Manila, Philippines. She peacefully passed away on June 3, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, grace, and unconditional love.
One of sixteen children, Rosalinda spent her early years in the Philippines, where she completed her education and pursued a Business degree at the University of the East. In 1969, at the age of 21, she moved to the United States and began a new chapter with her husband, Mariano Loyola Vasallo. Together they raised three beautiful daughters Stephanie, Shelby, and Lauren and she built a life centered on faith, family, and love.
Rosalinda dedicated many years to a successful career in the financial industry, working for Yosemite Insurance Company, Crocker Bank, Wells Fargo, and Robertson Stephens Investment. Yet her greatest joy was always her family. She was known for her delicious cooking and baking Filipino desserts, her love of dancing, and her warm, welcoming spirit. Her radiant smile and caring heart made everyone feel at home. She especially cherished her seven grandchildren Isiah, Elijah, Mikko, Yahshuah, Kali, Cereza, and Noah who brought her endless happiness and were among her greatest blessings.
Rosalinda was preceded in death by her grandson Mikko, her sister Angelita, her brother Demetrio, her baby brother Alexander, and her eldest sister Linda, who passed away shortly after Rosalinda on June 16, 2026. She is survived by her husband, daughters, grandchildren, and siblings Miraflor, Hermie, Leslie, Alex, Edwin, Aurora, Ofelia, Emily, Yolanda, Roger, and Bella.
Rosalinda will be remembered for her gentle spirit, selfless devotion to others, and the love she shared so freely throughout her life. She journeyed her life spreading unconditional love and she believed love was the greatest force of all. Her warmth and compassion touched all who knew her, and her legacy will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
