Rosalie T. Mayfield, 98Rosalie Mayfield, long-time resident of Belmont, CA, died March 30, 2014 in Monterey, CA. Rosalie was born in Connecticut in 1915. She was the second youngest of seven children. Rosalie worked for Pan American Airlines prior to marrying her husband Edgar. They were married for 30 years. Rosalie was an accomplished artist and an avid gardener. She was a docent and volunteer with the Filoli House and Gardens in Woodside for many years. Rosalie is survived by her three daughters, Cheryl Block, Katie Mayfield and Elizabeth Mayfield-Scerra; her four grandchildren, and her great-granddaughter Lily.A private burial service for Rosalie will be held at Skylawn Memorial Park in San Mateo on Friday, April 4.
