Ronald Anthony Tolentino's Obituary
Ronald A. Tolentino, age 68, of San Francisco, California, passed away, unexpectedly, and went to be with The Lord on the early morning of March 5, 2017, which was his late mother’s birthday. A first generation Filipino American, he was the second born son of Gavin and Natty Tolentino who both came to America from the Philippines. He was a talented self-taught musician who loved music. Santana was one of his favorite bands. Ron attended Balboa during his High School years and spent the bulk of his career as a truck driver. He loved riding his Harley and spending time with friends and family. He particularly enjoyed road trips to the coast, the lakes, and the river. He was a free spirit at heart and became a father at a young age, but his faith in God was unwavering and his church family also meant a lot to him. Often the life of the party, Ron had a good heart and those who met him were often impressed by his kindness and his big cheery smile and disposition. Ron was very grateful to his son Ron Jr., his daughter Deanna, and his nephew Don Adonis and their families for being there for him during the latter part of his life. Ron was preceded in death by his parents Gavin and Natty Tolentino and his brother Roger. A loving son, brother, father, uncle, Lolo (Grandfather), cousin, nephew, and friend who will be sorely missed, Ron’s legacy and pride of his life was the seven children and seven grandchildren that he is survived by, including: Julie, Rita, Ron Jr. (Stacy), Deanna, Tony (Tiffany), Diane, Ryan, Julia, Jasmine, Jenelle, Randy, Tori, Nikolas, and Elliot. A funeral service celebrating his life is being held on Thursday, March 23, 2017, 11:30 am, at Skylawn Memorial Park, San Mateo, CA (Hwy 92/Skyline).
