Ronald George Rebuck's Obituary
Ronald George Rebuck, aged 87, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2025, at Fairbanks One Assisted Living. He was born on December 13, 1937, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, to Clyde and Alice Rebuck. A graduate of Polytechnic High School in San Francisco, Ron was a proud resident of Castro Valley for 40+ years. Drafted into the Army after high school, he married Linda Carol Power on June 8, 1963, in Atlanta GA. Upon the untimely death of Linda in 2000, Ron rekindled a childhood romance with Nancy Bullock of Petaluma CA, and they were together from then on.
Ron worked as a printing foreman with Service Printing Company for over 30 years. He was the kind of person who never met a stranger, and always had the ability to make people smile. His Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and his family were his two biggest passions. He is survived by his grown children, Gregory Rebuck (married to Barb) and Sharon Turney (married to Don), as well as grandchildren Alex, Valerie, Daniela, Juliana, Kayla and Karissa, and great grandchildren Aaron, Cooper, Aspen, Jack and Arielle. Also surviving Ron are Nancy Bullock and her children, Lance Bullock (married to Jeannie) and Kelley Shirazi (married to Scott), as well as grandchildren Tyler, Ryder, Jacey and Cassidy, all who considered him “Grandpa Ron.”
All who knew Ron are invited to Redwood Chapel Community Church,19300 Redwood Road, Castro Valley, CA, at 2:00pm on Saturday, March 29, to celebrate his life.
