In Loving Memory of Romana Tumbali
October 7, 1927 – October 8, 2025
It is with heartfelt sadness that the family of Romana Tumbali announces her peaceful passing on October 8, 2025, at the remarkable age of 98.
Born in the Philippines, Romana lived a long and beautiful life filled with love, family, and faith. She dedicated many years to her profession as a teacher, shaping young minds with patience, compassion, and a deep belief in the value of education.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Mariano; her oldest son, Alfredo; and son-in-law, John.
Romana will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her surviving children: Armie, Lorna (husband Osias), Wilma, Jocelyn, and Gerwin (wife Yvonne); her daughter-in-law, Victoria; her seven cherished grandchildren: John Russell, Michael, Lisa, Christopher, Yvette, Hillary, and Samuel; and one adored great-grandchild, Adalie, who brought her endless joy in her later years.
She will be remembered for her strong will and her devotion to the Catholic faith. Whether through her homemade meals or her unwavering love for her family, she left a legacy of grace and strength that will live on for generations.
Visitation, funeral mass, and burial will all be held at Skylawn Memorial Park, located at 888 Lifemark Rd, Half Moon Bay, CA 94019, on Wednesday, October 15, 2025.
Public Visitation: 10:00 am to 10:30 am
Funeral Mass: 11:00 am
Burial: 1:00 pm
Reception: location to be announced after mass.
Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate Romana’s life and faith together.
