Robert Joseph Ellison's Obituary
Robert, “Bobby” Ellison, aged 60, of Ingram, Texas, departed this life on Wednesday, April 19, 2023.
Bobby was born on June 3, 1962, in San Mateo to Robert and Nancy Ellison. Bobby attended and graduated from Half Moon Bay High School. Bobby received many athletic awards in Football, Wrestling, and Boxing. Upon high school graduation, Bobby went right to work in the carpentry construction business. He prided himself in getting a job done right and not just “good enough”.
In recent years, Bobby moved to Ingram, Texas. Bobby continued to watch football and was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan. Lately, Bobby had discovered the joys of fishing. He not only caught the most fish but usually, the 1st one to catch one.
Bobby was a member of Open Arms Ministry Church in Ingram, Texas.
Bobby is survived by his partner, Vicki Cavanaugh, his mother, Nancy Ellison. He has two sisters, Laura Ellison (with 2 children, Daniel and Emily) and Suzanne Dempsey (with 2 children, Nicolas and Michael). An uncle, David Lanphear (wife, Virginia); an aunt, Korin Atwood. There are cousins Brian Lanphear, Adrienne Atwood, Simon Atwood, Bob and Doris Bailey.
A funeral will be held May 13, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Skylawn Memorial Park and Funeral Home, Highway 92 and Skyline Blvd., San Mateo, California, 94402. A light reception will be held after burial in the Vista Room.
