Mr. Robert DeLaurentis' Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Robert DeLaurentis, age 82, on July 30, 2022, in Phoenix, AZ. Bob is survived by his daughters, Nicole and Talia, and son, Robert. Bob had three grandchildren, Trevor, Ernie, and Wylder whom he loved very much.
Bob grew up in New Jersey and had 9 brothers and sisters that loved and admired him. They referred to him as “Bobby.”
Bob valued education above all else and proudly earned two Ivy League graduate degrees, one in finance from Wharton and the other in religious psychology from Columbia University. Bob loved reading and spent hours each day looking through three different papers. He often mentioned that he was a card-carrying member of the university’s library.
He proudly served 4 years in the United States Navy as a navigator on board the oiler, USS Caliente. He earned various medals serving during the Vietnam war and achieved the rank of Lieutenant.
Bob traveled the world including Europe, Asia, and South America, and lived for two years in Jakarta, Indonesia with his family. He helped start the first overseas manufacturing facility for integrated circuits in Indonesia while he worked for Fairchild Camera.
At the height of his business career, Bob held the position of CFO for a fortune 500 company Litton Industries.
