Robert Castle's Obituary
Robert Castle, 87, died peacefully at his home in Millbrae on January 7th after a valiant struggle with Parkinson's disease. Born in Boise, Idaho to Ruth and Herman Castle, Bob attended high school and junior college in Santa Maria, California then served in the US Navy from 1943-1946. Following his service, Bob earned a BA in Business Administration at San Jose State, where he also played varsity tennis. Bob was a top-performing sales representative and manager for Moore Business Forms for 33 years. He was a lifelong member of the Presbyterian Church, avid sports fan and accomplished tennis player. A devoted family man, he was a loving husband to his wife, Elaine; playful Dad to children Joan, Jeanette, Nancy and Doug; Grandpa to Jil, Katie, Alex and Chris; and Great-Grandpa to Evan and Brenden. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 13th at 11 am at the Lifemark Center at Skylawn Memorial Park. Donations in Bob's memory may be made to Pathways Hospice Foundation, 585 North Mary Ave., Sunnyvale, CA 94085-2905.
