Richard Soegaard's Obituary
Richard Soegaard, late of Hillsborough, California, passed away peacefully in his sleep at the age of 91 years. A native of San Francisco he was Veteran of World War II having served with the US Naval Intelligence Service were he earned the Meritorious Conduct Award. A partner in Gilmore Air Conditioning, he developed and owned Tahoe Bowl located in South Lake Tahoe. Surviors include his loving wife Betty Soegaard, son, Stephen Soegaard and Betty’s son, Ken Nichols along with his grandchildren – Tylerm Kyle and Sarah Seogaard and Chad Nicholos. Inurnment was in the Veteran’s Section at Skylawn Memorial Park, Route 35 @ Highway 92 in San Mateo, California. Lifemark’s San Bruno Funeral Home Staff were entrusted with the arrangements.
