Richard Allen Fagetti's Obituary
Celebrating the Life of Richard FagettiRichard Fagetti was born on the 4th of December in 1927 in Oakland, California. He was born to parents, John R. Fagetti and Nancy M. Fagetti. Most of his life was spent in Foster City and Redwood City. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree (Phi Beta Kappa) at the University of California, Berkeley. He also studied in a Masters of Divinity program at the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley. He was a member of the 1st Presbyterian Church of San Mateo and taught a men’s Bible study there. He worked in youth rehabilitation as the Assistant Superintendent at Hillcrest Juvenile Hall for 29 years. He enjoyed studying theology and spending his leisure time watching football.While still residing in Redwood City, on Sunday, the 29th of November in 2015, Richard died from pneumonia and kidney failure at the age of 87 years old. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Margaret B. Fagetti. He is also survived by his loving son, John and his wife Sandra, grandchildren Robert, Donald, James and Marie, and his 4 great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his daughter, Anna, and his step-daughter Julia.We invite our family and friends to attend a Celebration of Life Memorial which will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at 1 pm at Brookdale Redwood City, 485 Woodside Road, Redwood City, CA 94061.
