Radhey Mohan Mathur's Obituary
He was known as Radhey Mohan Mathur to everybody, but to us he was a caring father and grandfather. Not only was he a brilliant doctor in anesthesiology, but a brave soldier who served his country in the Indo-China and the two Indo-Pak wars. Always a man of science, he was an ingenious inventor who created a medical instrument which is pending a patent in US today. He loved music and poetry and mastered the Urdu language. He had the most beautiful handwriting which will be remembered by all. He rose to great heights in his medical career and received international acclaim for his research in Basic and Clinical Sciences. In every endeavor, he maintained high ideals, fought his battles bravely, and walked the extra mile. Most importantly, he led his life with honesty and commitment to principles in adversity. Always a lifelong learner, he gave us a wonderful childhood, a great education, and encouraged us to keep learning. Our old soldier continually inspired us to pursue our dreams and strive for perfection!Services in his honor will be held at Skylawn Funeral Home and Memorial Park on January 4th 2014 beginning at 9:30 am.
