Pun Po Ng's Obituary
In loving memory of Mrs. Pun Po Ng – affectionately known as “Mema” Age at Death – 81, of San Francisco passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on January 1, 2018 at 9:11pm. She was born December 22, 1936 in China and grew up in Hong Kong. Marriage: She married Shiu Ng August 1955 in Hong Kong. Moved to Cleveland in 1962 with her family to help with Father-in-law’s restaurant. Weather was too cold so the family moved to Oakland in 1965 and then to San Francisco in 1969. Full time homemaker who took great pride in raising her family. Mema took walks every day to Chinatown to shop and socialize since she knew all the locals. She enjoyed spending time with her family, eating out, spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren, playing Mahjong with friends, and taking road trips to explore. Mema was loving, kind, and full of grace.
