Pierre Fischer Sept 19, 1939 ' March 8, 2013Pierre was born, raised and educated in France. He worked for IBM France, Philips Holland and Control Data Corporation in the United States. He and his wife Diana moved to Europe to be close to Pierre's aging parents and there he worked for Computer Science Corporation in Munich, Germany. After the passing of his parents, Pierre, Diana and their two children, Claire and Helene, moved to California. Before retiring, Pierre worked for himself.Tennis and Photography were a big part of Pierre's leisure activities. He followed town government and was never afraid to speak out for issues that he felt were important to address.Funeral Services will be held March 16 at 11 AM at Our Lady of the Wayside Church in Portola Valley.Memorial donations may be made to the Portola Valley Open Space Acquisition Fund (PVOSAF), 765 Portola Road, Portola Valley, CA 94028.
