Peter Lam, Our Beloved Husband, Father, and Grandfather, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2018.Born on November 18, 1928 in Chung Shan, China, nearby Guangzhau. He was the 4th born in a family of 9. Hard times in China led him to travel to find work and support his family back home. Stopping in Venezuela, then back to Hong Kong, then finally to the United States. While in Hong Kong he met and married Millie Wai Ling Lee, and had his first son, Keith. Jimmy was born soon after the whole family immigrated to Oakland. He then opened and worked until his retirement at Asia Arts and Crafts in SF Chinatown.His love of travel took him around the world. His love of food and cooking brought a smile to many, many faces. His parties at home for the holidays were not to be missed.After retirement, he found a love for music playing the ErHu and doing Tai Chi with his friends. He will be missed by many.
