Peggy Elaine Cosmas- Ramirez's Obituary
Peggy Elaine (Cosmas) Ramirez July 30, 1948 – February 9, 2015Our precious wife, mom and nana left us too soon but blessed us all immeasurably by her life, love and laughter. Peggy’s greatest life achievement is summed up in one word: motherhood. She was proud, boastful and selfless as she raised her two sons, John and Nicolas.Peggy was born and raised in San Francisco along with her 3 brothers and sister. She was a graduate of Mission High – class of 1966, married John Cosmas in 1972 and retired in 2010 from her career at Kaiser Hospital, San Francisco. Shortly before her retirement Peggy found love again and remarried in 2010 to Ray Ramirez, Jr whereupon she left her beloved San Francisco to make her new life in Fresno, CA.Peg also carried an excitement for attending her high school reunions given the prospect of connecting with old friends about “the good ol’ days” and to share a deep sigh for Elvis. She was also known to fondly recount her short-lived career as a beautician and the many hairdos she created. While Peggy cherished her 2 sons, she deeply loved all of her family and friends, especially her grand kids! Her new marriage blessed her with a great-grandson Eligh who she insisted needed a full dose of her love too.Godspeed dear one. You will be missed!Peggy is survived by her husband Ray Ramirez, Jr; her sons John Cosmas (Nidia), Nicolas Cosmas; Ray’s daughters Jacqueline(Jose), Nicole(Raymond); Peggy’s grand kids Priscilla, John Jr and Danny; Ray’s grand kids Marissa, Edmund, Nicolas, Raynie, Jose Jr, Gabriel, Lorenzo; Ray’s great grandson Eligh; father Rudy Stadlberger; 3 brothers Bob, John, Fred and sister JoAnn; preceded in death, mother Mary Stadlberger.
