Pedro Nunes Moreno's Obituary
Pedro “Pete” Moreno passed away in peace Monday, January 4, 2021 at the age of 88 in his home in Redwood City. He was surrounded day and night by his children, grandchildren and family up to his last days.
Pedro was born February 23, 1932 in Union de Tula, Jalisco Mexico, to Simon and Maria (Nunes) Moreno. He grew up working in the farm fields as a young child and at the age of 18 in 1950, migrated to the United States working in various roles. On February 11, 1961, he married Josefina Ponce. He was a very social person with a colorful personality. He loved his family, especially his grandkids, nephews and nieces. He was always known as the fun Tio (uncle).
