Patricia Rohde Villegas' Obituary
Surrounded by her loving family, Patricia Rohde Villegas passed away peacefully on April 30, 2025.
Pat was born on October 26, 1947, in San Francisco where she was raised and continued to live. As a native San Franciscan, Pat was a die-hard fan of the San Francisco 49ers, the San Francisco Giants, and the Golden State Warriors. In addition to supporting local sports teams, Pat’s unwavering love and devotion of her hometown extended to her admiration of Karl the Fog.
Pat was the beloved wife of Leo Villegas and loving mother to Raymond, Lori, Vincent (Ron), Tony, and Frank; grandmother to Angela, Delila, Christina, Eladio, Raymond, and Joseph; great grandmother to 21 great grandchildren; and great-great grandmother to 10 great-great grandchildren. We all remember Pat’s favorite saying, “Grandma knows everything.”
Over the years, Pat was also a dedicated dog mom to Bogie, Bambi, Freckles, Ginger, and Sweet Pea, a greyhound she adopted through Golden State Greyhound Adoption.
Pat was a great follower of British dramas and mysteries. She did the challenging Chronicle crossword puzzle daily. Her favorite movie, Gone with the Wind, provided the source of her favorite quote and license plate holder, “Frankly my dear, I don’t give a damn.”
We will miss Pat in our lives but take comfort in knowing she will be reunited with Leo, the love of her life.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Golden State Greyhound Adoption (goldengreyhounds.com).
Dear Family and Friends,
Please meet at the entrance of the main lobby at 11:45. We will go as a group to the final resting place and afterwards continue a celebration of Pat’s life in the Vista reception room.
