Patricia Ann Garcia's Obituary
Patricia Ann Garcia 1937-2021 Our wonderful and loving Wife, Mother, and Grandma passed away on Halloween Day, Sunday, October 31, 2021. Pat was born on April 12, 1937 to Vita and Joseph Battaini in San Francisco. Pat was a proud graduate from Balboa High School (’54) and then worked in downtown San Francisco at the Bank of America. She then met the love of her life, Joe, on Halloween Day 1956. They began a life together until his passing in 2020. Their marriage produced four loving children, Victoria Garcia Shipley (Kirk), Joey (Cathy), Elizabeth Johnson (Mike) and Catherine. Later in life they were blessed with four grandchildren Taylor Johnson, Andrew Garcia, Nicholas Garcia, and Tyson Johnson whom Mom loved with all her heart. Pat had a working career working as a bookkeeper at Kawasaki, volunteering with American Heart Association, Norney’s stationary, and keeping all the Hallmark cards organized in local stores. Her visits to the local Casino brought much fun and winnings. The time spent in Clearlake with family and friends were always a treat to her, but her life spent with Joe and his car friends filled her heart with joy. Rest in peace Mom. We love you!
