Pablo Diaz Santana's Obituary
Pablo Santana was born on September 27, 1938 in Unión de Tula, Jalisco, México. At the age of eight, Pablo moved to Texas where he began his journey in the United States. As a teenager, Pablo found his way to San Francisco where he was affectionately known as El Terror de la Calle 21.
As he matured, Pablo met the love of his life, Laura Oliva, when he married her at the age of 26. Pablo settled down in the Excelsior District of San Francisco where he raised his four children.
Pablo worked hard as a skilled journeyman to provide for his family, later retiring at the age of 62. Pablo spent his later years with his grandchildren, never missing an event or major milestone.
Pablo passed away on Monday afternoon, April 26, 2021 with his wife and daughter, Monica, by his side. Pablo is preceded in death by his parents, Magdalena and Manuel, his stepfather Marcelo, and his son Sergio. Pablo is survived by his wife Laura, their children Pablo, Adriana, and Monica,
and his son Paul along with all of his grandchildren.
Pablo’s charismatic and social personality will be remembered by all as he will always be the life of the party. In his honor, let us raise a glass of his signature drink “El Chango” and reflect on the memories and time we were blessed with having Pablo Santana in our lives.
Gone but never forgotten.
