區梁藹珩女士生平區梁藹珩女士於一九五四年八月六日在香港出生,原籍廣東順德。其父親有二十七位兄弟姊妹;母親仍在香港,高齡九十有二。藹珩在家中排行第三,上有兄姊,下有弟妹。除家姊仍在香港外,其餘兄長及弟妹均在美國定居。藹珩幼受庭訓,中學畢業後赴笈澳門幼兒師範進修,幼師畢業後返港,於一九七三年開始在香港靈糧學校幼稚園任教凡六年之久。其後,於一九七九年九月,返回母校聖保羅男女小學服務,教育初小學生,至公元二千年離港。春風化雨,作育英才,前後二十七載。藹珩於一九七二年歸信基督,在中華聖公會港澳教區受洗。梁藹珩女士於一九七五年與區志輝先生於北角衛理堂團契相識,一九七九年七月二十三日兩人結為連理,今年剛好結婚三十五週年。藹珩賢良淑德,婚後相夫教子,惟不忘教育熱誠,仍執教鞭,及積極參與教會各項事奉。其間長期服務教會之衛理兒童合唱團達十一年。梁藹珩女士與區志輝先生育有一女兩子。長女詩穎已婚,婿葉展鵬,外孫男希然,外孫女希恩。長子霈銘,次子顥銘,皆未婚。藹珩一家五口,於公元二千年八月移民來美,定居加州Milpitas市。在美期間,除在所居住校區兼職教學助理外,並積極參與童軍領袖、角聲癌症關懷義工、教會兒童主日學、及福音見證等工作。此外,亦曾在博愛中文學校服務,教育土生華人中小學生認識中文。藹珩屢獲校區教師家長讚許及中文學校嘉賞。在患病前,她更努力完成了一系列的醫務行政助理訓練課程。藹珩自二零一二年八月確診為肺癌第四期,至今兩年多,其間不斷與癌魔搏鬥,在在顯示出她是一位堅強和勇敢的女士,對主基督的帶領更滿有信心,在開始在家臨終服務前,仍堅忍地在教會講台上述說見證;雖然始終敵不過癌魔,但那美好的仗,她已打過了,當行的路,她亦已走完了。天父經已把她安然接返天家。那裡已再沒有重擔和痛苦,永久的福樂將陪伴她,我們將來也會與她再相聚。Biography of Mrs. Oi Hang Helena Au-LeungMrs. Oi Hang Helena Au-Leung was born in Hong Kong on August 6th, 1954. Her native province was Guangdong Shunde. Her late father came from a big family with 27 children. Her mother, aged 92, is living in Hong Kong. Helena was the third in a family of five children. She had an elder brother, an elder sister, a younger brother and a younger sister. While her elder sister resides in Hong Kong, her other siblings all live in the States.Helena had received good education since her childhood. After graduating from high school, she went to Macao to undertake teacher training in kindergarten education. On completion of her training, she returned to Hong Kong and began teaching in the Hong Kong Ling Liang Primary School and Kindergarten in 1973 for six years. In September 1979, she returned to her mother school the St. Paul’s Co-educational College AM Primary School to teach elementary classes until her departure from Hong Kong in 2000. Her whole teaching career in Hong Kong lasted for 27 years.Helena accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior in 1972 and was baptized in the Diocese of Hong Kong and Macao. She gained acquaintance with Che Fai Au in 1975 at the North Point Methodist Church Fellowship. On July 23rd, 1979, they got married. They recently celebrated their 35th anniversary in July 2014.After her marriage, with a noble and virtuous character, Helena took good care of her spouse and children. Inspired by her passion for teaching, she continued to pursue her teaching career, and played an active role in different activities/ministries of her church. In particular, she served in the Methodist Children Choir for 11 years. Helena and Che Fai have a daughter and two sons. Christine, their eldest daughter, is married to Daniel Yip and has given birth to a son (Brenton) and a daughter (Abygail). Their two sons, Mathew and Jonathan, are still single.In August 2000, Helena’s family immigrated to the States and began residing in Milpitas in California. Besides acting as a teaching aid in the elementary schools in Milpitas Unified School District, she participated actively in Boy Scout troop meetings, Harold Cancer Care Network volunteer work caring for cancer patients, Church Sunday school, evangelism and short term mission trips. She had also taught at the Berryessa Chinese School, helping American born Chinese elementary and high school students learn Chinese. She had received much praise from the schools, her fellow teachers as well as parents. Before her illness, she completed a series of training for Administrative Medical Assistant.In August 2012, Helena was diagnosed stage four lung cancer. Throughout the last two years, in her relentless battle against cancer, she displayed commendable strength and courage, and utmost faith and trust in God. Before she started hospice service at home in August 2014, she once again gave testimony in her church. While she was unable to win the battle against cancer in the end, she had fought the good fight and had finished the race. Our Heavenly Father has taken her back to Heaven, where there is no more pain and suffering but eternal peace and joy abound. We will meet her again in future.
