Nathaniel Tran's Obituary
Luong (Nathaniel) Dinh Tran turned 10 years old on June 12, 2013. He has being overcoming Pelizaeus Merzbacher, a rare and incurable disease, his whole life. He has surpassed his life expectancy. He continued to amazed his UCSF doctors each and every year. He’s truly an angel on earth showing us the strength and will of the human spirit. He understands many things and has the most beautiful laugh. His simplicity and enjoyment of life with his limiting disease is what makes him so special and wonderful. He had so little due to his disease, but smiled and laughed all the time. His tenacity and courage kept him strong as he was in and out of hospitals, especially the last month of his life. He loves k-pop, paris by night and listens to buddhist mantras as well as eating rice porridge. He enjoyed spending time with his mom and sister, Nina.
