Moses B. Castillo's Obituary
Moses B. Castillo, age 97, passed away on June 1, 2026.
He was born on June 1, 1929, in Chihuahua, Mexico, to Marcelino Castillo and Gregoria Baeza Castillo.
Moses B. Castillo was drafted into the military, where he served and studied to become a radiologist. He worked as a radiology technician at the VA in Palo Alto and Menlo Park, California, for many years and was known for his work ethic and dedication.
Beyond his professional life, Moses enjoyed working for his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He was especially passionate about numbers and being the church treasurer. Family and friends will remember him for his strong and steadfast nature, his financial precision, and his zeal for serving the Lord.
Moses is survived by his sons Jerry and Phillip Castillo; his siblings Alice Nava, Benjamin, Marcelino, Judith Ann, and Rudy Castillo; and numerous other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carmen G. Castillo; his parents, Marcelino and Gregoria; and his siblings, Adam, Lydia, Elias, and Eva.
A celebration of life will be held on June 25 at 9:30 am at the EPA Apostolic Church, located at 721 Donohoe St, East Palo Alto, CA 94303. Followed at 1 pm by a burial ceremony at Skylawn Memorial Park, located at 888 Lifemark Rd, Half Moon Bay, CA 94019.
Moses's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing” 2 Timothy 4:7-8.
