Moira was born in Hong Kong on March 7, 1947. She received a bachelor’s degree in sociology from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and a Master of Public Policy from the University of California, Berkeley.
Moira enjoyed a long and successful career in the public and private sectors. From exploring the natural wonders of the southern continents to making a pilgrimage in Buddha’s footsteps to India, Moira found happiness and enlightenment in the diverse beauty of the world. She devoted much of her time as an ardent learner and practitioner of the Buddha Dharma and an active Dharma supporter at the Chung Tai Zen Center of Sunnyvale.
