Michael Darwin Prescott's Obituary
Michael Darwin Prescott died tragically at his home on Saturday, July 8th, at the age of 52. Michael was born at Mills Hospital in San Mateo on November 18, 1964 to Kathy Prescott and the late Michael Tarney Prescott.He graduated from local schools in San Carlos, Redwood City and Woodside and went on to become a very proud, card carrying member of IBEW local 617, where he worked as an electrician for more than 30 years. Michael was an avid motorcycle rider and owned several custom bikes. He had an extensive music collection which he enthusiastically shared with his many friends. Michael also was an excellent cook and loved trying new recipes. He was a real animal lover and over the years, acquired several rescue pets.Michael is survived by his Mom, Kathy Prescott of Emerald Hills, Ca.; Sister, Shawn Prescott of Nevada City, Ca.; Brother, Conn Prescott and Sister-in-law, Teresita Prescott of Emerald Hills, Ca.; Sister, Kerry Prescott Stamos and Brother-in-law, Spiro Stamos; and eight Nieces and Nephews, Patrick, Nick, Casey, Tarney, Keely, Conner, Zoe and Lesly; and his beloved dog, Baxter, and Patches the cat.Funeral Services will be held at Skylawn Memorial Park, on Saturday, July 29th from 2:00pm to 3:30pm, with a celebration of life to follow at Redwood City Elks Lodge, 938 Wilmington Way, Redwood City, Ca. beginning at 5:00pm.We would like to thank our family and friends for all the love and support.
