Mike and i attended College of San Mateo from 1963-1965.We were in the machine shop program for 2 years. I remember his 1957 Oldsmobile. I seem to remember Mike telling me that along with his father, they painted the car red. I think Mike had a 1957 Chevrolet Nomad after the Oldsmobile that they also painted. Mike and his dad were evidently a great team.
Mike and I were both excited about cars. I remember his sense of humor, and telling me that he was looking at a Model A on a used car lot that had a price of $495. He told the salesman he should raise the price another five cents to make it an even $5.
Mike was fun to be around and always had a smile.
