Meav Eng Heng's Obituary
Beloved mother, grandmother and aunt to many, our mom Meav Eng Heng was born in Phnom Phen, Cambodia on May 14, 1944 to a family of four sisters and one brother. Mom was married to our father, Goan Ky for 53 years and raised 4 children together. Mom and Dad endured hardships during Pol Pot and Phnom Dong Reht and did everything they could in order to bring us all to America in 1980 so that we can have a better life.Our mom was fondly remembered as a caring and kind woman – a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her children and grandchildren. We love and miss her deeply.Our mom passed away on Monday, July 24, 2017 in San Jose, California. Mom is survived by her husband, Goan Ky, her sons, Teck Ky and Ben Ky, her daughters, Chean Ky and Alice Ky, and her grandchildren, Samantha Hoang, Dan Hoang, Bryant Hoang, Richard Ky, and Philip Ky.
