Marvelyn Grace's Obituary
We are celebrating the life of Marvelyn D. Grace born on September 8th 1929 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Marvelyn died on Sunday July 15th 2018 in the city of Modesto, CA. Her parents were Wendell F. Little and Jewel H. Rees.Marvelyn was twice-widowed. Her first marriage was to Vern O. Fore’ who passed away in 1960, then to James L. Grace who passed away in 2007. She lived in Sunnyvale, CA for over 30 years and then moved to Modesto in 2009.Marvelyn loved the Lord and attended Sunnyvale First Assembly of God, Cathedral of Faith, Calvary Chapel and Bethel Church, all located in the bay area. She loved to sing and play the piano, organ, and the accordion. Marvelyn also worked and retired from Boeing in Sunnyvale, CA as an accounting analyst.The surviving family members are her son, Douglas and Della Fore’, her daughter Carolyn and Vince Angelino, her daughter Paula and Edward Kramer. Her grandchildren are Douglas Fore’ II, Jeremy Epp, Sherene and Daniel Martinez, Melody and Chad Benzel , Jared and Melissa Fore’, Jenae and Jason Douglas, Matthew Kramer, and Christopher Tuttle. Her great grandchildren are Devon and Dominick Fore’, Kaylee Fore’, Mckenna Fore’, Brielle Fore’, Ella Martinez and Cameron Benzel.The family would like to extend our gratitude to all of the entire staff at Valley Comfort in Modesto, CA, specifically to Chris and Nick Gaither who were an extension of our love, comfort and support in her last days. We would also like to thank the staff at Optimal Hospice.Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 20th at 11am at the Skylawn Memorial Cemetery located in San Mateo @hwy 92. There will be a luncheon reception following the service.
