Marshall E. McNesby's Obituary
Marshall Edward McNesby, born on August 14, 1924 in San Francisco died at Kaiser Hospital in San Jose on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at 4:15 am. He leaves behind his wife Elsie, and two sons, Jeff and Joe who loved him very very much. Tom Burnsides will officiate at the service at Skylawn Memorial Parkat Highway 92 and Skyline Blvd., San Mateo at 11 am Sunday, January 16 th. Marshall was a member of the Sirs Branch 16 Golf Club for quite a few yearsand was an avid bowler and bowled in leagues and tournaments up and down the peninsula. He once bowled a perfect 300 game while in a league at San Carlos Bowl, in San Carlos, where he lived some of the best yearsof his life. At ‘The Villages Golf & Country Club’ in San Jose where he lived his last 4 years, he was involved in Bocce, Bingo and Pool, and he loved relaxing in the hot tub and swimming in the pool. He had many life long friends and will be missed by many.
