Mark Nakai's Obituary
Mark “Toshinori” Nakai passed away in San Mateo on April 20, 2016, he was 85. He was predeceased by his wife of 39 years, Tina Nakai who passed away in 2006. Also predeceased by his first grand-daughter Tina Vassallo. (2006)Born in Hiroshima, Japan he lived a great part of his life in San Mateo and retired from Japan Airlines after 30 years plus.He is survived by his step-children Lilian Santangelo, Pauline Picchi and Joseph LoGiudice. Grand-children, Michael Lo Giudice, Joey Picchi and Lilliana Lo Giudice. Great-grand children, Anthony Vassalo and Daniel Vassallo. He is survived by his brother Minori Nakai from San Mateo, Newphew, Alan “Nori” Nakai from San Mateo, and other family members in Japan.Per the request of the family, services will be private.
