Marjorie Speck's Obituary
Marjorie Joan Speck 8/8/1933 – 6/14/14After a long battle caused by a stroke in 2010, Marjorie is finally at peace. She was born in Salina, Kansas to Fred and Hazel West. Marjorie had 3 brothers and 1 sister. She was preceded in death by her late husband John L. Speck. They were married for 60 years. Her and her husband moved to Linda Mar in Pacifica in 1957.Marjorie was a loving wife and mother to Mary Ann Trujillo (Ruben Rocha, James Speck and Robert Speck (Annie). She was a beloved grandmother to Janelle Shott (Alex), Stacey Speck, Johnney Speck (Melissa), and Trever Speck. Marjorie was also a great-grandmother to Alanna Trujillo and had many nieces and nephews.She volunteered at Sanchez Elementary School and the Senior Community Center. After her kids got older she worked at K-Mart and Marshall’s. She really enjoyed her family and meeting new people. Marjorie loved to work in her yard, crochet, sing, and dance, roller skating and being with her grandchildren and great-granddaughter.Honoring her request, there will be no services held. The family would like to thank our family and friends and especially all the people at Saint Francis Heights that gave her such great care.In lieu of flowers being sent, the family requests that donations to be sent to Saint Francis Heights, 35 Escuela Drive, Daly City, CA 94015 or Vitas Hospice, 39899 Balentine Drive, Newark, CA 94530.
