Marion Bechthold's Obituary
Celebrating life of Marion BechtholdBorn on the 7th of June in 1925, in San Francisco, Californa. The only daughter of 4 children. Marion had three brothers Rich Ruff, Jack Ruff and Warren Ruff.She attended Balboa High School in San Francisco. On the 18th of August in 1945 Marion married the love of her life, Roy Bechthold. They had two children, Gary Bechthold, wife Jill and Carol Egan, husband Tony.They lived in San Francisco until 1953, where they then moved into a brand new home in Belmont Ca. She was a Domestic Engineer AKA stay at home mom. Met her very special friend Barbara Reshatoff, who lived across the street. They had endless amounts of fun together. They had a sewing club where the ladies would meet and work on their latest project. She lost Barb a few years ago, she never stopped missing her. She still has 2 very special friends from High School; Toni Marinski and Joan Conrad.The most important and special time in her life were the birth of her five grandchildren; Rachelle Brown and Britt, Gina Arminio and Todd, Danny Egan and Natalie, Jessica Bragg and Marcus and Jared Bechthold and Lisa.The birth of her seven great grandchildren were also a real highlight of her life; Jade Arminio, Gianna Armenio, Curtis Egan, Beau Bragg, Bryn Bragg, Beck Bragg and Olivia Egan born on her 90th birthday. She was proud of all of them.Roy and her loved to dance and get together with friends at summer cabin in Felton, California. They later then got a cabin in Long Barn, California. Her favorite get away was going to Hawaii, that was her happy place.Roy and Marion were married for 68 years.She is survived by her loving children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and loving friends.
