Marilyn Pearson's Obituary
Marilyn Pearson, a resident of Daly City for 71 years, passed away on Sunday, May 2nd, 2021, after a long battle with cancer. She was 84 years old.
Marilyn was born on sept 12,1936 in San Francisco, the daughter of Virginia and Clem Tice, a decorated Air Force colonel, who moved throughout the United States until settling in Daly City in 1950.
She attended Star of the Sea Academy High School and City College, in San Francisco, before securing her first job as a Revlon model, and cosmetics salesperson, at Sears and Roebuck on Geary St in San Francisco. Whilst working at Sears, she met her husband Phillip Pearson, and they were married in 1967.
After leaving Sears to raise 4 children, Michael, Dan, Janet, and Jeanne, she went back into the work force as the manager for San Francisco Grayline credit union. She ended her career as a property manager for Kotta and Associates in Daly City, where she retired.
She is survived by Phillip, her devoted husband of 55 years; a loving brother, Tom Tice; and 3 of her children, Dan, Janet and Jeanne.
A service will be held at Skylawn Funeral Home and Memorial Park, in San Mateo, on Friday May 28th at 2:30 pm.
