I am heartbroken to hear that Lyn passed away. She was a very important person in my life even though we never met. I understand now why emails stopped and my heart hurts. She was a great woman, a wonderful friend, and I know she was a great mom. For 30 years we shared a friendship albeit virtually. She had the best sense of humor and the compassion of a saint. Although Aunt Marilyn lived a good long life it was still sad to hear of her passing. We lived on opposite sides of the country so we didn't have the opportunity to see her often. I will certainly remember her sense of humor and her laugh for the times that we did see her.
In recent years we have been friends on Facebook. I have enjoyed her almost daily posts. They included jokes about growing old, photos of NYC and many photos of outer space and far away galaxies. I knew that she had served in the Army but was unaware that she a part in the development of the Hubble Telescope. I guess that explains her many posts. She will be missed.

The Jack Jones Family has enjoyed our Aunt Marilyn's positive outlook and laughter throughout her life and she will be especially missed and remembered for this! I have appreciated, in recent years, the family memories she has shared as my father's only sister. Her kind and bright spirit was inspiring and her laughter always contagious!
