Marijean Marie Parrish Bortoli's Obituary
Marijean Parrish Bortoli, aged 84, of San Jose died peacefully at her board and care home on Monday, September 25 of Lewy Body Dementia.
She was born June 22, 1939 in Bozeman, Montana, the eldest child of Arthur and Evelyn Danielson. She attended Roosevelt High School in Oregon and De Anza College in California. She worked for a medical supply company as Production Control. MJ (as some called her) attended church and volunteered her time as a Stephen’s Minister. Marijean was independent, spunky, and fun loving. She loved raising her two children. She had a passion for traveling. She was a lover of butterflies and was sometimes called The Butterfly Lady.
Marijean is survived by her two children Clay Parrish and Tamara Windham (Glenn); grandchildren: Ashley Windham (Derek), Calvin Parrish (Sarah), Logan Hill; great grandchildren: Chance Windham-Webster, Cadence Windham-Schipper; siblings: Lloyd Danielson (Janice), Rosemary Rightenour (John), Carol Eikenberry, Phyllis Larson (Dale), Paul Danielson, Sharon Yarnell (Roger).
She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Bortoli; her mother and father; her brother Richard (Ricky) Danielson
A funeral service will be held at West Valley Presbyterian Church on November 18 at 11:00 am light lunch reception to follow.
